Virtual Reality DataViz Game

Following the Data Sculpture module came the four-week VR module Play 2. The goal was to convey the data from the previous module (topic: mental health and alcohol consumption) through a virtual reality experience. I again collaborated with Jill Amber Kaser. While I created the 3D models in Cinema 4D (the city and assets such as plants, etc.), Jill developed the story and storyboard. Together, we brought everything to life in the game engine Unity. The player takes on the role of Alex and walks through the streets of a city, collecting bottles that contain data points. The accompanying voices were generated with AI.
